Review rules
This is a translation. The Polish version is binding: mikup.pl/zasady-opinii.
Ratings and reviews on mikup.pl are posted by users and relate to products that we sell ourselves – the ranking does not include products from other sellers. Below, we explain who can add them, how the ranking is compiled, whether and how we verify purchases, and how to report false or illegal content.
Who can add a review
Anyone can, without needing to create an account. When leaving a review, you can provide a username, the place of purchase and how long you have been using the product. We do not pay for reviews and do not offer discounts in exchange for them.
How ratings and rankings are determined
Products are rated on a scale of 1–10 across five criteria: build quality, durability, ease of use, value for money and accuracy of the product description, as well as according to category-specific criteria and users’ own criteria. The product rating is the average of the general criteria, and the number of votes is shown alongside it. The category ranking is determined by this average; where products have the same rating, the one with the higher number of votes is ranked higher. We do not manually adjust the order, nor do we feature any product in exchange for payment.
Are reviews verified?
We do not check whether every reviewer has purchased or used the product. Reviews without a badge are not verified in this respect.
The ‘Verified Purchase’ badge is awarded to a review where the author has provided an order number from one of our sales channels, and we have confirmed that the order exists and includes that product:
- purchases made on the mimeble.pl and Jeszcze Się Przyda websites, as well as on our Allegro account, are automatically checked in the order system;
- purchases made via our Sprzedajemy.pl, Arena and Erli accounts, as well as any ambiguous cases, are checked manually;
- we do not publish the order number and use it solely for verification purposes.
What we do not publish
We remove reviews and comments that contain illegal, offensive or vulgar content, personal data, advertising or links, as well as reviews that are clearly untrue or unrelated to the product. We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative, nor do we alter their content.
Reporting content
You can report a review or comment using the ‘Report’ button next to the review or by emailing to@mikup.pl. In your report, please provide a link to the product, the content in question and the reason for the report. We review every report and inform the reporter of our decision. The author of the removed content may appeal against the decision by writing to the same address.
Reactions to reviews
Below each review, you can select ‘This helped me’, ‘I agree’, ‘I disagree’ or ‘This misled me’ and add a comment. Reactions do not affect the product’s rating.
